The hands-on labs for this course use version 3.01 of the OBA software.

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Describe the components of an Operations Bridge Analytics (OBA) deployment
  • Configure OBA to collect from Business Process Monitor (BPM), SiteScope, and Operations Agents (OA)
  • Configure OBA to collect log messages from ArcSight Logger, Splunk, and Logstash
  • Use the Log streaming capability to collect logs.
  • Use the Search Tool to locate data of interest
  • Create a new dashboard
  • Create an OBA service topology
  • Use Search Tool to query event and log data
  • Configure OBA to collect data by using Operation Analytics data pipe
  • Create Analytics Query Language (AQL) queries and create customized dashboards
  • Use and setup the Anomaly detection to proactively detect abnormal behavior
  • Use the predict feature to analyze metric behavior
  • Use the correlate feature to analyze relationships between metrics
  • Define and manage alerts
  • Explain the features, capabilities, and value of log and event analytics
