This Application Performance Management (APM) Adoption Readiness Tool (ART) learning solution offers operators and end users, who are new to APM version 9.3, the opportunity to develop experience in applying the fundamental concepts, principles, and methodologies for managing APM. This course is recommended for individuals who are responsible for providing operational visibility into the performance and availability of mission-critical applications. The simulations in this course use Micro Focus Application Performance Management version 9.3.

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

  •  Describe APM services and features.
  •  List the challenges and values associated with APM.
  •  Identify the key characteristics of APM and its architecture
  •  Monitor application performance and availability from the end-user perspective
  •  Monitor the real-time status of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), view performance metrics, and work with reports containing historical performance data
  •  Integrate Micro Focus SiteScope with the APM environment
  •  Create and analyze reports that present and organize specific data your organization might need
  •  Create and manage service-level agreements (SLAs) representing contracts with service providers, customers, and internal business units
  • Perform basic administrative tasks

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.
