Training goals dlearning

This 3 days course teaches students to deploy and administer the SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 High Availability Extension.

During this course you will learn:

  • Install the SLE HA Extension and create a Corosync/Pacemaker cluster
  • Administer a cluster using Web and CLI tools
  • Configure node fencing using the SBD plugin for STONITH
  • Cluster basic resources, such as IP addresses and services
  • Cluster storage in a cluster safe way using LVM
  • Implement Active/Active storage using OCFS2 and GFS
  • Configure simple load balancing using HA Proxy

This course is designed for existing Linux administrators who want to configure highly available services using the SUSE Linux Enterprise HA Extension.

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

Dlearning training

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
