Students will learn to configure the ExtremeControl Portal to include Portal Administration, Guest Registration, and Authenticated Registration. Students will also be introduced to ExtremeControl Workflows built into ExtremeCloud IQ – Site Engine and well as ExtremeControl Notifications for automations. ExtremeControl integration with Extreme Connect and introduction to ExtremeControl APIs is also examined. Students will have these concepts reinforced with hands-on lab experience managing ExtremeControl in a preconfigured network.

 

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the working knowledge to:

  • Create and configure ExtremeControl Portal
  • Discuss network redirection techniques
  • Examine ExtremeControl Portal Administration
  • Configure ExtremeControl for Guest Registration
  • Configure ExtremeControl for Authenticated Registration
  • Examine ExtremeControl Workflows within ExtremeCloud IQ – Site Engine
  • Discuss ExtremeConnect integration with ExtremeControl
  • Explore ExtremeControl APIs

This course is designed for individuals needing network access control automations and notifications and/or are responsible for the ExtremeControl Portal.

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

Dlearning training

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
