CompTIA DataSys+ is a foundational level data management certification that focuses on the logistics of data administration and security.

The CompTIA DataSys+ sets a unified standard of skills for the successful management and securing of data assets. It covers what database administrators need to deploy, manage, and maintain high-availability systems, including employing the fundamentals of scripting and programming in a relational database environment while using security and business continuity best-practices.

What Skills Will You Learn?

  • Database Fundamentals - Understand database structure types while developing, modifying and running structured query language (SQL) code, providing the groundwork to gather, store, and drive data assets on any operating system.
  • Database Deployment - Compare and contrast the different aspects of database design and planning and explain the various phases of the implementation, testing, deployment and optimization of collected data.
  • Database Management and Maintenance - Learn the purpose of monitoring and reporting database performance, explain common database maintenance processes, and produce critical documentation.
  • Data and Database Security - Secure databases, protect against attacks, and control authorization while ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Business Continuity - Prepare for and recover from incidents by implementing best practices for disaster recovery, backup and restoration of database management systems.

The participants will obtain certificates signed by CompTIA (course completion). This course will help prepare you for the CompTIA DataSys+ certification exam, which is available through the Pearson VUE test centers.

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

Dlearning training

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
