New Check Point engineer certification in Compendium EC

Check Point, a producer of specialized Web security solutions for information transfer, has introduced new engineer certification path.
Recently introduced Check Point engineer certification:

• Check Point Certified Endpoint Administrator (CCEPA)
• Check Point Certified Endpoint Expert (CCEPE)

New certification concerns R70 Endpoint Security.

To study for theese exams Check Point recommends trainings:

• Secure Access
• Full Disk Encryption
• Smart Center with Pointsec MI
• Media Encryption

To obtain the CCEPA title (Check Point Certified Endpoint Administrator) candidate has to pass three exams:

• 156-701.70 CPEP-SA (Secure Access)
• 156-706.70 CPEP-FDE (Full Disk Encryption)
• 156-708.70 CPEP-ME (Media Encryption)

For a CCEPE title (Check Point Certified Endpoint Expert) - CCEPA is required and also passing of one additional exam:

• 156-707.70 CPEP-MI (Smart Center with Pointsec MI)

Exam price is $150 (156-701.70 CPEP-SA, 156-706.70 CPEP-FDE, 156-708.70 CPEP-ME, 156-707.70 CPEP-MI).
Till May 31st, 2010 special examination voucher is available. It alows you to take all 4 exams in the price of 3 ($450).

August 31st 2009, is the last day when exams listed below are available:

• 156-215.1 CCSA NGX
• 156-315.1 CCSE NGX
• 156-515 CCSE Plus NGX
• 156-706.63 CPCS Pointsec PC 6.3
• 156-707.63 CPCS Pointsec MI 6.3
• 156-7 08.63 CPCS Pointsec Protector 6.3 (4.9)
