Almost a year ago Extreme Networks has announced the acquisition of Enterasys Network Company. Everybody following closely this acquisition was aware of its potential. Definitely Extreme Networks is very strong in switching but it was fighting with their wireless and network management portfolio. Rebranding Siemens or Motorola wireless was a temporary solution. Enterasys as a partner brought wireless and management portfolio apart from their switching technology.

This year was about consolidating both companies. The next year will be the indicator how good the companies are doing together. It will show whether it will be just E+E company or might be E².

Soon we will announce new Extreme Networks trainings in our portfolio. Currently we offer “Switch Operation and Configuration” and “Advanced Switch Operation and Configuration” trainings based on XOS software version 15.3. After each course you can certify to obtain a proof of your network professional skills.
