A basic introduction to DevSecOps, suitable for summer camp, and appropriate to gain a preliminary understanding of what DevSecOps solutions can bring to the table. Cover the basics of what DevSecOps means and how it applies to software delivery. Explain why the fundamentals of DevSecOps are a cultural process, rather than a technical one, which makes it both easier and harder to adapt in organizations. Suggest why having a DevSecOps mindset can help accelerate delivery even when technical solutions are falling behind. Introduce some of the terminology associated with DevSecOps, suggest some basic coding, security, and delivery practices as well as some future paths for learning.
