Upcoming People Cert training changes

 

 

Every year a Partners Meetup is organized to present new developments and changes in training from the PeopleCert portfolio. Below we will present the most important changes planned by the manufacturer for the 2023.

 

Training materials

Official PeopleCert training materials will appear in April 2023. Every participant will have access to them through a dedicated platform. Initially, these materials will be in English for training courses: ITIL® 4 Foundation, PRINCE2® Foundation-6th edition and PRINCE2® Practitioner-6th edition. Successively, more language versions will be added later, as well as materials dedicated to other PeopleCert trainings. They will allow participants to even better assimilate the material presented in the training and in preparation for certification!

 

Renewal of certification every 3 years

All Global Practice certifications obtained as of January 1, 2020 will have to be renewed every 3 years. Participants will have 3 options to do this:
- retaking the exam before the certification expiration date,
- collecting and registering MyAxelos points,
- obtaining further certifications from within the product package before the expiration date of the certificate. Package of products ITIL® 4: all certifications ITIL® 4. Package of products Project, Programme & Portfolio Management: PRINCE2®, PRINCE2® Agile, MoR®, MSP®, MoV®, MoP®, P3O®. For example, after obtaining a Practitioner level certification, the Foundation level certification will automatically be extended for 3 years, or having an ITIL® 4 Strategist DPI certification after passing the ITIL® 4 Specialist CDS will extend the ITIL® 4 Strategist DPI certification.

 

Those who were certified before 2020 will be given a six-month period during which they can approach certification renewal. After this period, they will be removed from the SCR registry.

 

On-site exams return

Starting in 2023, the possibility of taking the exam stationary after attending training in the same form will return. In order to ensure the best quality and security, applications for stationary exams will be made through a special platform.

Along with the above changes, the prices of exam packages as well as the training itself will be increased.
