One Million Certified in Cybersecurity (1MCC) - ISC2 program

One Million Certified in Cybersecurity (1MCC) - ISC2 program

Compendium Centrum Edukacyjne and ISC2 have launched a joint initiative under the 1MCC program as part of their partnership within the Industry-Academia Network.

In June 2025, Compendium Centrum Edukacyjne officially expanded its strategic partnership with ISC2 to include joint initiative as part of the European Industry-Academia Network, led by the Cybersecurity Skills Academy https://www.compendium.pl/view/2491/industryacademia-network-partnership-highlight-between-isc2-and-compendium-centrum-edukacyjne

Through this initiative, ISC2 provides free access to its self-paced Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) course and certification exam for 2000 learners from Compendium CE, as part of the global One Million Certified in Cybersecurity (1MCC) program. This initiative is designed to expand access to high-quality cybersecurity education and certification, particularly for students, career changers, and underrepresented groups, including women. The CC certification serves as an excellent entry point for anyone wishing to begin their journey in cybersecurity.

How to get started with the 1MCC program

3. Take the free exam
After completing the training, use your free exam voucher to register for and take the CC certification exam.

4. Become certified and maintain your credential
Once you pass the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) exam at a Pearson VUE testing center, you will receive an official confirmation of your exam score/success. For some candidates, this may be the final step.

However, if you want to obtain the CC certificate and enjoy the additional benefits of becoming a full ISC2 Member, you will need to pay an annual membership fee  (Annual Maintenance Fee, AMF). For the CC certification level, this fee is 50 USD per year. Membership unlocks access to exclusive resources, continuing education opportunities, and a global network of cybersecurity professionals.

To obtain your digital certificate and become an official ISC2 member, you must:

  1. Pass the CC exam.
  2. Complete the online certification application and agree to the ISC2 Code of Ethics.
  3. Pay the 50 USD Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF).

Only after these steps will you receive your official certificate and ISC2 membership status. The payment of the AMF is required to be awarded the certification, even if you passed the exam as part of the 1MCC program.
