Check Point at Compendium
Compendium Education Center has acquired a new authorization. The company has signed an agreement with Check Point Software Technologies and received the status of Check Point Authorized Training Center. It entitles Compendium to provide certified courses referring to Check Point solutions in Poland.
The new training offer is available from January this year. This is the sixth authorization related to information technology security issues. Compendium is an authorized education center of Nokia Enterprise Solutions, Internet Security Systems, F-Secure and Clearswift in Central and Eastern Europe. Moreover, it is the only Computer Associates Training Center in Poland.
Compendium will provide four authorized courses referring to configuration and administration of Check Point products. The offer includes basic training (Management I) and advanced courses (Management II and III). The training is addressed to network administrators and integration companies specialists who implement information security projects.
Training graduates receive participation certificates signed by Check Point Software Technologies. They can also take an exam and acquire a certificate of Check Point Certified Security Engineer (CCSA, CCSE, CCSE+). The certificates are recognized worldwide. A title of Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) was among the 10th most demanded certificates in 2003 (source: '10 Hottest Certifications' according to CertCities). The exams can be taken immediately after Compendium training. The company has the status of Virtual University Enterprises Authorized Testing Center which entitles it to hold on-line examinations for IT specialists.
