First Extreme Networks Authorized Training Center in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe

Compendium Education Center has gained the status of the first Extreme Networks Authorized Training Center in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

Specialized in delivering trainings covering many aspects of network infrastructure, broadly understood IT security and operating systems, Compendium E.C. has signed collaboration agreement and reached the status of Extreme Networks Authorized Training Partner. Compendium, as a partner of Extreme Networks, will offer certified courses covering integrated hardware and software solutions of this partner Company.

Courses will be held both in Polish and English language. Apart from the theoretical knowledge participants will gain practical experience with Extreme Network hardware during the workshops being part of the courses. Trainings offered are preparing the participants for passing exams necessary to achieve Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) and Extreme Networks (ENS) certificates. The collaboration agreement between Compendium E.C. and Extreme Networks entitles Compendium also to lead these exams.

Extreme Networks Training Portfolio offered by Compendium E.C. contains initially:

• Extreme Configuration Fundamentals Rev 3.0 (ECF-200/5)

• Extreme Multicast Routing Rev 3.0 (EMR-300/2)

• Extreme Redundancy Fundamentals Rev 3.0 (ERF-300/2)

• Extreme Security Fundamentals Rev 3.0 (ESF-300/3)

• Extreme Interior Gateway Protocols Rev 3.0 (EIGP-300/2)

 

 

The first course: Extreme Configuration Fundamentals Rev 3.0 (ECF-200/5) allows participants to gain the knowledge about LAN networks technology, so what basic configuration and administration of Extreme Networks devices. It is addressed mainly to persons involved in deployment and administration of computer networks based on Extreme Networks switches.

The next course Extreme Multicast Routing Rev 3.0 (EMR-300/2) introduces concepts and technologies used in IP networks to steer multicast traffic using Extreme Networks switches. Course is dedicated for all persons involved in design, configuration and administration of IP networks using IP multicast technology deployed with Extreme Networks solutions.

Extreme Redundancy Fundamentals Rev 3.0 (ERF-300/2) discusses technologies granting high availability in networks using Extreme Networks products and its configuration in the framework of ExtremeWare® XOS™ 11.3. This course is dedicated for designers and administrators of high availability solutions.

Extreme Security Fundamentals Rev 3.0 (ESF-300/3) training covers security aspects of the networks deployed using Extreme Networks technology. Course covers also QoS deployment aspects. Troubleshooting methodology will be also presented. It is addressed to all persons responsible for design and configuration of LAN security solutions.

Extreme Interior Gateway Protocols Rev 3.0 (EIGP-300/2) shows concepts and practical aspects of deploying dynamic routing protocols used for achieving redundancy and high availability, especially using OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) in networks build with Extreme Networks technology. It will be useful for all responsible for designing and configuration of LAN networks using dynamic routing protocols.
