Forensics Workshop

Training goals
In a world of high-profile corporate malfeasance and increasing cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism; electronic evidence discovery is an essential part of your organization's security plan. During the investigation of a computer security incident, an untrained network or system administrator, system analyst, or incident response team may unintentionally destroy valuable forensic evidence or miss critical clues that indicate unauthorized or criminal activity.
During Forensics Workshop, you will:
1. Gather and preserve physical and electronic evidence.
2. Conduct a forensic examination and analysis of a compromised system.
3. Review the general guidelines used when creating a computer forensic report.
The Forensics Workshop is an intense, two day, hands-on course developed by Internet Security Systems' highly regarded X-Force security experts. This lab-intensive course takes you through a complete forensics analysis. It also presents insight into computer crime and the computer forensic process that organizations require in order to protect critical assets.
