Nokia IP VPN Foundation

Nokia IP VPN Foundation is a two-day hands-on, instructor-led course covering design and configuration of IPSec-standard VPNs on Nokia IP VPN products. Day one covers the Nokia IP VPN product range, a brief overview of encryption and VPN theory, and simple configuration of the solution. At the end of day one, students will have a working VPN.

On Day Two, the course continues with more complex VPN topologies, how to fine tune various parameters, and in-depth coverage of the AOS platform, including hardware options, upgrade, recovery procedures, and the most common command-line debugging requirements. Hands-on exercises are included for all of these topics, and set everything in the context of creating a simple static site-to-site corporate Nokia IP VPN installation. Students completing the course will have a good understanding of the platform and the management interface, a reinforcement of their IPSec knowledge, and will have a good basis for extending their knowledge either through the offered solution courses or by use of the product reference manuals.

9. Certification Authority Theory and Configuration
10. Pins and FLASH Cards, Backing up VPN Gateway, Handling Hardware Failures, Recovery
11. Upgrading Software
12. Debugging and Logging, Management Accounts and Monitoring Tools

Persons attending this course should have a working knowledge of IP networking.
The participants will obtain certificates signed by Nokia Enterprise Solutions.
