Nokia IP VPN Site-to-Site

Training goals
Nokia IP VPN Site-to-Site is a two-day hands-on, instructor-led course. The course starts with VPN security using the firewall, NAT and NAT before IPSEC, and continues with OSPF and dynamic routing integration over VPNs using Nokia Meta-HopTM technology.

Day two covers dynamic addressing and dynamic deployment, PPP and WAN backup. The course also covers SNMP management and monitoring, scaling and resilience theory, command line work. and a study of interoperation with and migration from competing products. After completing the course, students will have a thorough understanding of site-to-site installations for Nokia IP VPN.

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
  • Design and specify complex site-to-site VPN installations
  • Integrate Nokia IP VPN products with other VPN systems
  • Configure dynamic installations for small offices
  • Configure clustering for resilience and scalability in larger instations
  • Manage and monitor large numbers of gateways
  • Integrate with dynamic routing and NAT addressing for easy resilient management of complex addressing and connectivity
  • Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software problems with Nokia IP VPN
