SecurID 6.x Administration

Training goals
This course provides an overview of the administrative responsibilities associated with RSA SecurID products. The working principles behind RSA Authentication Manager (RSA ACE/Server®), RSA Authentication Agents (RSA ACE/Agent®), and RSA SecurID hardware and software tokens are discussed, including product architecture, time synchronization, system maintenance, reporting functions, use of the RSA SecurID Quick Admin feature and RSA SecurID Web Express. Extensive hands-on exercises reinforce the administrative tasks involved in managing a user population and assigning and managing RSA SecurID tokens.

  • RSA SecurID token operations and administration
  • Techniques for bulk user population/migration
  • User administration and structures: User objects, groups, Agent Hosts, sites, and realms
  • Administrative users, roles, and access through network-based and web-based interfaces
  • Component communication and encrypted processes

Requirements
Functional knowledge of Operating System and Networking fundamentals. Familiarity with UNIX and/or Windows system and user administration.

The participants will obtain certificates signed by RSA Security.
