SecurID for Microsoft Windows 6.x Update Class

This class offers descriptions and demonstrations of the features and functions found in the RSA SecurID for Microsoft Windows 6.0 product: RSA Authentication Manager and RSA Authentication Agent software. This class is designed for participants who are already thoroughly familiar with prior versions of RSA ACE/Server software and RA SecurID technology and who need to understand the enhancements and Microsoft Windows domain integration capability contained in the 6.0 product.

1. Installing the Server and Agent software for local, domain, Offline, and Emergency access
2. Planning for an RSA SecurID deployment in a Microsoft Windows domain environment
3. Understand Server and Agent components, subcomponents, services and processes
4. Understand Microsoft Windows interaction, domain authentication, and Agent capabilities of the version 6.0 software

Topics:

• Discussion and demonstration of the installation and configuration of Agent software to protect access to web resources
• Installation and configuration of Agent software on a Windows domain client
• Configuration of Windows Password Integration
• Demonstration and testing of domain authentication, Offline Authentication, and working with Offline Emergency codes
• Demonstration of preparing for and installing Agent software on a domain controller
• Discussion of LDAP Synchronization to import RSA SecurID users from Microsoft Active Directory
• Positioning Server and Agent components to accomplish access protection
• Description of the product components, communications and process flow
• Description of the RSA SecurID for Microsoft Windows 6.0 features and capabilities

Attendance in the RSA SecurID Administration course or working knowledge of RSA SecurID technology and administration.
Working knowledge of prior released versions of this product.
The participants will obtain certificates signed by RSA Security.
