Upgrading RSA SecurID v.5.x to v.6.x

This course offers hands-on training on how to take advantage of the new features and most efficiently migrate from RSA Ace/Server software version 3.x/4.x to RSA ACE/Server software version 5.0-5.2 and/or RSA Authentication Manager software version 6.x. This course is designed for participants who are already familiar with RSA ACE/Server and who need to understand the enhancements contained in the 5.x and 6.x product releases.

1. Use the LDAP import capability to import users into the Server database
2. Upgrade Server and Agent software including load-balancing configurations
3. Understand the pre-upgrade tasks to prepare for software migration
4. Understand the advanced Windows integration features of RSA SecurID software including Offline Authentication capability
5. Create redundant/failover systems and understand the role and capabilities of Replica servers
6. Install and configure systems to use Remote Administration and RSA SecurID Quick Admin features
7. Understand the use of RSA SecurID Web Express for deployments

• Description and comparison of product features and functions contained in the 5.x and 6.x software versions

Functional knowledge of Operating System and Networking fundamentals. Working knowledge of prior released versions of this product.
The participants will obtain certificates signed by RSA Security.
