Nokia IP VPN Mobility Solution

Nokia IP VPN Mobilty Solution is a three-day, hands-on, instructor-led course that focuses on the end-to end Nokia Symbian to Nokia IP VPN Gateway solution. The course starts with a rapid hands-on revision of configuring site-to-site static networks, covered in the Nokia IP VPN Foundation/Site-to-Site course. It then moves to look at the Nokia VPN Client for Symbian for various Nokia Enterprise Solution handsets, and the management of the client using the Nokia SSM system. Students implement a complete VPN Manager, IP VPN Gateway cluster and a SSM system. Student at this point can observe end-to-end connectivity using either their own or supplied handsets.

The course includes theory on encryption protocols and algorithms, and detail on Certficate Authority, PKI, and LDAP integration for the Nokia IP VPN Manager and Nokia SSM. When students have a working end to-end system, they then go on to learn how to make various substitutions and will see how the Nokia IP VPN gateways can also support third party PC client connections for remote working, or alternatively how the Nokia IP VPN Client for Symbian and Nokia SSM systems can work with a Cisco VPN Concentrator or other gateway solution.

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:

• Describe the end-to-end Nokia IP VPN Client for Symbian handset to Nokia IP VPN Gateway connectivity and management solution
• Explain how enterprises can benefit from the solution
• Design and configure complete installations
• Integrate third party PC clients into the solution
• Integrate third party VPN gateways into the solution
• Integrate third party PKI systems into the solution
• Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software problems with the solution

Persons attending this course should have a working knowledge of IP networking and should have attended or passed certification for Nokia IP VPN Foundation.
The participants will obtain certificates signed by Nokia Enterprise Solutions.
