Training goals
The Extreme Interior Gateway Protocols (EIGP) training class is designed to provide students with the ability to implement and configure routed networks using the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol on Extreme Networks switches. This course is based on ExtremeWare® XOS™. This course is designed for those individuals responsible for the installation, configuration, management, maintenance and support of the Extreme Networks switches in an OSPF environment. This course is ideal for individuals who are familiar with Layer 3 routing but desire a more comprehensive discussion on how to set up an OSPF network using Extreme Networks products.Training days

Requirements
Knowledge of LAN fundamentals, Layer-3 routing and OSPF protocol theories is required. Knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and static/dynamic routing is needed for the student to gain the most from this course. These prerequisites can be met by attending the Extreme Configuration Fundamentals (ECF-200/5) classes.Required trainings

The participants will obtain certificates signed by Compendium - Education Center. This course is also a prerequisite for Extreme Network Specialist (ENS) certification.Locations
