This course offers hands-on training on how to take advantage of the new features and most efficiently migrate from RSA Ace/Server software version 3.x/4.x to RSA ACE/Server software version 5.0-5.2 and/or RSA Authentication Manager software version 6.x. This course is designed for participants who are already familiar with RSA ACE/Server and who need to understand the enhancements contained in the 5.x and 6.x product releases.

2. Understand how a PKI is employed in applications such as RSA Keon products
3. Understand the relationship of a PKI to e-commerce and enterprise security
4. Understand the cryptographic fundamentals of a PKI

• Legal considerations for a Certificate Authority – Certificate Practice Statement and subscriber agreements
• Discussion of the practical applications of a PKI
• Description of PKI industry standards
• Discussion of cryptographic and cryptosystem basics
• Network security threats assuaged by employing a PKI
• Business needs and requirements of a PKI
  

The participants will obtain certificates signed by RSA Security.
