Students will learn to properly manage their ExtremeControl engine. Students will also deep dive into the ExtremeControl rules engine and learn to manipulate network end-systems with authorization. Extreme Policy components and structure will be looked at, as well as integration with ExtremeControl. For students without Extreme Policy capable devices, ExtremeControl policy mappings will be examined to maximize ExtremeControl’s capabilities throughout a multi-vender network. ExtremeControl integration with ExtremeAnalytics and ExtremeCloud IQ will also be demonstrated. Students will have these concepts reinforced with hands-on lab experience managing ExtremeControl in a preconfigured network.

 

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the working knowledge to:

  • Navigate, manipulate, and create ExtremeControl Dashboards
  • Configure ExtremeControl Administration options
  • Configure ExtremeControl engine options
  • Understand and demonstrate authorization with ExtremeControl
  • Utilize and manipulate the ExtremeControl rules engine
  • Learn the components and structure of Extreme Policy
  • Integrate ExtremeControl with ExtremePolicy
  • Integrate ExtremeControl with ExtremeAnalytics
  • Integrate ExtremeCloud IQ – Site Engine and ExtremeControl with ExtremeCloud IQ
  • Understand ExtremeControl Alarms and Events
  • Understand and create ExtremeControl Reports
  • Earn a learning credential on the Professional Program training path

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

Dlearning training

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
