In this test, for antivirus products running on Microsoft Windows Server 2003, FortiClient earned 100 percent marks in every possible award category. Well-known in the industry, the VB100 awards recognize products that have been tested by independent experts and proven to accurately detect 100 percent of viruses known to be "in the wild," constituting current, real-world viruses.

Virus Bulletin staff tested FortiClient 3.0 along with 26 other antivirus products for detection rates, lack of false positives and speed of scanning.
