KFS 2026 is on the way - prepare to access funding for IT training!
The first announcements for applications under the National Training Fund (KFS) will be published soon. For companies planning to develop their employees' skills - especially in the IT sector - this is the perfect time to get ready and increase your chances of obtaining funding.
New from 2026: KFS applications only online
From 2026, an important change in application procedure has been introduced-applications will only be accepted exclusively online, via the organization’s account on the portal: praca.gov.pl.
ATTENTION: Paper forms will no longer be accepted.
Important - please create an account before the application period is announced - This is the only way to submit a KFS application in 2026.

Recruitment!
Recruitments will be announced by labor offices, and information about the recruitment should appear on the labor office's website at least 10 working days in advance! Everything indicates that the first specific recruitments will appear at the turn of winter and spring 2026.
Be prepared and remember:

- Compendium CE has a current list of over 700 IT courses for which you may obtain funding, which are highly sought after in today’s job market, including:
- Cybersecurity: Check Point, CompTIA, EC-Council, Fortinet, ISC2, Mile2, Netskope, OffSec, Palo Alto Networks
- Networks: HPE Aruba Networking, Extreme Networks, F5, Infoblox
- Cloud: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, SUSE, The Linux Foundation (Kubernetes)

Who can apply for funding in 2026?
From 1 January 2026, the following can apply for KFS funding:
- employers employing employees (minimum one),
- employees seeking to upskill,
- self-employed individual,
- individuals working under contract agreements.
This represents a significant expansion of the program, now welcoming self-employed individuals and specialists working under contract agreements.
What about foreign companies?
If a foreign corporation has a branch or subsidiary in Poland that is registered in accordance with Polish law and employs staff here (for whom it pays contributions to the Labor Fund), it is fully eligible to apply for KFS funding.
