This course provides an overview of HPE GreenLake services and common administrative tasks associated with HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise operational management. Students will learn the roles and responsibilities as an HPE GreenLake administrator, as well as how to operate and manage HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise utilizing HPE GreenLake Central.

 

Course objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Understand and describe the services offered by HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise
  • Describe the features and administrative tasks for managing HPE GreenLake for bare metal
  • Describe the features and administrative tasks for managing HPE GreenLake for private cloud
  • Identify different types of library and catalog items and how they are used
  • List features of automation tasks and workflows, and how they are used in application blueprints
  • Design and use an application blueprint
  • Understand and configure networks for virtual machines
  • Describe the features of the HPE GreenLake API services
  • Configure and use infrastructure as code services using the Terraform integration
  • Describe tasks for managing HPE GreenLake for containers
  • Create a container services cluster blueprint and deploy a cluster
  • Manage cluster configuration
  • Manage namespace and tenant quotas
  • Use policies to manage resources.

 

Audience

IT Support and/or Technical roles that perform day-to-day IT operations for HPE GreenLake environments.

Students should possess 1-2 years working as an IT or cloud administrator, architect, or engineer and have general knowledge and experience around IT and cloud architectures, virtualization, containers, operations, and administration. H61P0S - HPE GreenLake Cloud Practitioner Foundation.
