This five-day, instructor-led training course offers technical personnel the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in applying the fundamental principles, methodologies, and capabilities of Hybrid Cloud Management (HCM) and its core components, such as Operation Orchestration (OO), Cloud Service Automation (CSA), and Cloud Optimizer (CO).

The hands-on labs for this course use version 2018.11 of the HCM Suite software that includes OO 2018.09, CSA 4.94, and CO 3.04 and UCMDB/UD 2018.08

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Explain containerization and Cloud Deployment Foundation (CDF)
  • Explain Hybrid Cloud Management (HCM) and the various deployment scenarios
  • Explore the basic administrative tasks to maintain and manage the HCM environment
  • Access and explore the HCM modules
  • Explore the Cloud Service Management console
  • Consume the created services through Marketplace Portal reports

To be successful in this course, you should have the following prerequisites or knowledge:

  • Understand your organization’s cloud deployment requirements
  • Understand private and public cloud technologies
  • Have a basic knowledge of the Cloud Management Platform
  • Have a basic knowledge of virtualization technologies and the Linux Operating System (OS)
  • Have Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure user access accounts that will help with Lab activities
  • Basic knowledge of and comfort working with software, including simple keyboard and mouse skills, as well as knowledge of web browsers (Internet Explorer or Google Chrome) and other Windows-based programs
