The purpose of the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation is to prepare candidates for certification assessment whether the candidate can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the PRINCE2 Agile® project management method.

The PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation qualification is also a prerequisite for the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner Examination, which assesses the ability to apply understanding of the PRINCE2 Agile® project management method in context.

A participant should understand the structure and key terminology of the method. Specifically, the participant should understand:

  1. Understand key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2
  2. Understand key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2 Agile
  3. Understand how PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products are tailored and/or applied in an agile context
  4. Understand the agile ways of working, key terms and techniques
  5. Understand the focus areas in an agile context

Target audience:

  • Agile professionals, project managers and aspiring project managers who want to be able to combine PRINCE2® and Agile in the most effective way when using PRINCE2®, Agile behaviours, concepts, frameworks and techniques.
  • Other key delivery team staff, including: product owners, Scrum Masters and developers.
  • Business professionals with an interest in iterative and incremental project delivery through collaborative working.

Additional information


PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no pre-requisites. Those without any pre-existing knowledge of PRINCE2 are eligible to sit the certification as this will be covered during the training.

Duration 3 days

This course prepares for exam which is an optional part of the training and the completion leads to PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation certification.

PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation exam: 

It is multiple choice exam, 50 questions; Duration of exam is maximum 60 minutes; Accredited PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation training is strongly recommended but is not a prerequisite; Exam is supervised; Pass Score is 55% which means correct answer at least 28 questions from 50.

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

Dlearning training

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
