Mile2®’s C)SP+ Certified Security Principles+ course provides the skills necessary to apply and implement technical knowledge of security concepts in today’s security environment. Students will gain an in depth knowledge of systems security, access control, network infrastructure, assessments and audits, cryptography and organizational security across all vendor products. These skills have become increasingly important, as additional safeguards such as intrusion detection systems, physical access control, and multi‐factor authentication become standard methods of protection. Students are given real-world scenarios to reinforce the material covered and will learn how to apply the concepts to their daily operations.

Course objectives

  • Fully understand Security from a real-world viewpoint
  • Implement security controls on systems within an environment, network, data, servers, host, mobile, cloud
  • Understand risk management and how each individual or department can be part of reducing risk
  • Understand cryptography at the basic level to ensure a company is implementing this correctly

Upon completion

Upon completion, the Certified Security Principles+ candidate will not only be able to competently take the CSP+ exam but will also understand basic cybersecurity knowledge to keep companies’ IP and IT infrastructure safe.

The participants will obtain certificates signed by Mile2 (course completion).

This course will help prepare you for the Certified Security Principles+ exam, which is available through the on-line Mile2’s Assessment and Certification System (“MACS”), and is accessible on your mile2.com account. The exam will take 2 hours and consist of 100 multiple choice questions. Each participant in an authorized C)SP+ - Certified Security Principles + will receive a free CSP+ exam voucher.

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

Dlearning training

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
