This course will enable you to install and configure an ExtremeCloud SD-WAN, with all deployment modes: Full-Router, Bridge, Hybrid and RVC (Remote Visibility & Control). You will gain an understanding of the concepts and functionality of the SD-WAN architecture through comprehensive lectures and discussions. By performing the labs you will experience onboarding the ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Appliances (ipes) with ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Orchestrator and validating network application flows.

 

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the working knowledge to:

  • Explain the architecture of the SD-WAN solution including the key solution components: connectivity options, security options, application performance and orchestration.
  • Deploy an ExtremeCloud SD-WAN solution including onboarding appliances and monitoring the application traffic to confirm proper operation.

 

Audience

This course is designed as the first step for individuals responsible for the installation and configuration of the ExtremeCloud SD-WAN solution.

Prerequisites

The Meet ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Welcome Series certification is a mandatory prerequisite and must be completed prior to attending the ExtremeCloud SD-WAN - Installation and Configuration class. You should possess a solid grasp of LAN & WAN concepts, including Ethernet, MPLS, TCP/IP and software applications. To learn the basics of networking, see Extreme Academy.

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
