In this course, you will learn how to implement and centrally manage an enterprise security infrastructure composed of multiple FortiGate devices.

Enterprise Firewall Administrator course doesn’t include parts related to the troubleshooting process and tools. These topics are covered in a separate training: Network Security Support Engineer.

 

Objectives

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Centralize the management and monitoring of network security events
  • Implement a high availability (HA) solution on FortiGate
  • Combine OSPF and BGP to route enterprise traffic
  • Harden enterprise services
  • Simultaneously deploy IPsec tunnels to multiple sites using the FortiManager IPsec templates
  • Configure ADVPN to enable on-demand VPN tunnels between sites
  • Integrate FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and multiple devices using the Fortinet Security Fabric
  • Optimize FortiGate resources

 

Who Should Attend

Networking and security professionals involved in the design and administration of an enterprise security infrastructure using FortiGate devices should attend this course.

You should have an advanced knowledge of networking, and extensive hands-on experience working with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.

You must have an understanding of the topics covered in FortiGate Administrator (or have equivalent experience).

It is also recommended that you have an understanding of the topics covered in the following courses, or have equivalent experience:

  • FortiManager Administrator
  • FortiAnalyzer Administrator

Traditional training

Sessions organised at Compendium CE are usually held in our locations in Kraków and Warsaw, but also in venues designated by the client. The group participating in training meets at a specific place and specific time with a coach and actively participates in laboratory sessions.

Dlearning training

You may participate from at any place in the world. It is sufficient to have a computer (or, actually a tablet, or smartphone) connected to the Internet.
