This course provides an in-depth review of Extreme Networks’ Fabric Connect advanced features for integrating SPBM with other protocols and solution requirements. You will learn how Fabric Attach signaling is used to provision services at the edge and how expand the campus configuration by implementing Fabric Extend and Multi-Area SPBM. Redistributing routes from outside protocols into IS-IS is discussed with route policies. You’ll also learn about how DvR provides Default Gateway Redundancy and optimizes traffic flows. Lectures are supported with hands-on configuration of VSPs, Universal Hardware 5520, ERS, and EXOS.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the working knowledge to:

  • Utilize Fabric Attach to configure fabric services.
  • Integrate other protocols and services with Fabric Connect.
  • Understand how to expand the campus configuration by implementing Fabric Extend.

Extreme Campus Fabric - Installation and Configuration certification is a mandatory pre-requisite and must be completed before registering for Extreme Campus Fabric - Advanced Configuration. Student should have good grasp of SPBM concepts and overall switch management.
